Our client is a well-established company, a leading producer delivering to different industrial sectors.

Work responsibilities

The country HR Manager is responsible for managing locally all HR processes in accordance with Group strategy and is acting as a support to local management team.
Lisk of tasks:

  • Managing HR resources in 2 countries and ensuring effective delivery of all HR activities, liaising with HR Manager Europe and top management.
  • Preparing and controlling HR budget, following-up on all HR related costs.
  • Acting as a contact person with local authorities (social security, health insurance, unemployment office, etc.) and HR suppliers.
  • Employee relations & legal awareness: organizing and managing the collective negotiations with union representatives in collaboration with the country administrative coordinator; keeping local legislation knowledge up-to-date and supporting operational managers with legal advices in the field of social legislation and labour code; liaising with local lawyer on labor law.
  • Recruitment: analyzing & validating recruitment needs, launching recruitment campaigns, managing recruitment process, ensuring smooth integration process of new employees.
  • People Development: administrating performance appraisal and succession planning processes locally at each site, analyzing training needs, establishing local training plan, advicing and supporting managers in developing their teams.
  • HR Projects & initiatives: following-up HR KPI’s and implement improvement action plan, participating and/or managing HR projects.
  • HR Administration: overseeing administration of employees and the payroll process, ensuring all internal and external reporting accuracy.

Candidate requirements

  • University degree (legal, economy, psychology, HR field would be preferred).
  • At least 5 years experience in similar position.
  • Experience in a similar position from a heavy industry or industrial environment is highly preferred.
  • Experience with collective bargaining agreements would be welcomed.
  • Strong legislation overview (labour law and applicable legislation).
  • Language: English (written & spoken).
  • Driving license class B.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Autonomous and discreet.
  • Business understanding.
  • Team leading and people development skills.
  • Goal orientation.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%).
